Hailey Kennedy is a contemporary fine artist and illustrator based in Edmonton, Alberta. Her paintings explore natural landscapes through the vibrant use of colour.
Most often inspired by Canada’s Boreal forest, Plains, and Coastal regions, Kennedy seeks to incorporate perspectives from her profession in archaeology into her arts practice. Focusing on moments between human interaction and the natural environment, her work merges scientific understanding and personal experience to capture change over time.
In 2025, Kennedy was the Artist in Residence at Studio H Canada International Arts Residency in Metchosin, British Columbia, and a visiting artist at Dinosaur Provincial Park remote residency in Alberta. Her work has been featured in group exhibitions throughout the Edmonton area and is held in various private collections across Canada.
